24 Νοε 2016 · I need to remove a lot of steel bolts from an aluminum engine block, they feel like "welded" in there because the level of rust. Just turning them would crack the part, or break the bolts. I wonder what's the best/fast way to remove them, with minimum parts damage.

15 Ιουλ 2016 · Use an impact driver with a hammer to coax the bolts out. For the broken ones, use an 1/8” cobalt drill and center drill the hole (you could make a taper tip bushing to ensure you are on center) Drill to 4.5mm. Run a M6x1.0 gun tap through the hole and you are done.
