Customers and employees of the FLHSMV can e-mail request for a fraud investigation to: fraud@flhsmv.gov to report fraud directly to the Fraud Section. When reporting suspected driver license fraud, please try to include the victim’s name, address, and contact information.
Please be prepared to provide your driver license number, Social Security number, title or vehicle identification number. Another option available is to can submit an email form by visiting https://flhsmv.service-now.com/csp. A member from customer service will reply within approximately 3 business days. Touch base with any other authorities that the scam involves. If you have evidence of mail fraud, for example, alert the USPIS. You should also report scams or fraud to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Depending on your situation, you could file a fraud report or an identity theft report.

How the Scam Works: You receive an email that appears to be a confirmation message from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The email supposedly confirms your recent driver's licence and vehicle registration renewal. The message looks completely legitimate.
