Its a 2018 chevy van. Its our personal vehicle although my husband has worked in an auto shop in the past. He has the motor cover off, hes trying to loxate the oil pressure sensor to replace. I cannot locate a schematic for this engine and its too new for youtube videos.
30 Ιουλ 2023 · Locate the oil pressure sensor. It is on the right side of the engine, just below the intake manifold. It is approximately 3-inches long and is made from black plastic. A two-wire electrical connector is attached to the end of the sensor.

22 Φεβ 2023 · The oil pressure sensor leaks oil through the center of its body, filling the block connector and spraying the engine bay with oil. You can easily diagnose this fault by checking for any oil leaks from around the pressure sensor.
Refer to Engine Mechanical Specification (RPO L96 VIN G) in SI for proper specification. If engine oil pressure is less than normal, replace the engine oil filter and retest. If engine oil pressure is still low, it will be necessary to inspect the #1 main bearing for any damage.
