In this tutorial, I will give a brief overview of the basic math behind logs and antilogs, and then I will show you how to use this to quickly find the antilog of any number in Excel. Table of Contents
The antilog, or inverse of log, helps reverse logarithmic transformations, restoring data to its original form. In Excel, use the formula =10^A2 for base 10 antilogs or =POWER(base, exponent) for other bases. For natural base (e) antilogs, use =EXP(cell) to simplify the calculation.
21 Μαΐ 2021 · To obtain the antilog of the values in column B, we can use the formula =exp (value) in column C: By taking the antilog of the values in column B, we were able to obtain all of the original values. The following screenshot shows how to calculate the log base 7 of a list of values in Excel:
24 Φεβ 2023 · This blog post explains to you how to find the antilog or exponent of a log value using Carat Operator, Excel in-built functions Power function, Exponent function for Natural Logarithm, and Power query feature.
29 Ιουλ 2024 · To find the inverse of the Natural Log in Excel, we’ll use the built-in function called EXP. The EXP function calculates the output when “ e ” is raised to the power of a given number. Follow the steps below to compute the inverse of the Natural Log:
15 Οκτ 2021 · The inverse of the log of a number is the antilog number (to the base of 10). Finding the antilog number is quite easy, you simply need to raise it to the power of 10. Let’s look an example: The base-10 log of the number 5 is 0.69897. 10 0.69897 = 5. The formula used to find the antilog is: LOG10(x) = a. Antilog “a” would be: x = 10 a
To find the Log, we can simply use the LOG function. We can insert the following formula =LOG (B2,A2). To find the Antilog, we can insert the following formula =A2^C2. Once we are done, you will be able to find the antilog of values.
