To go to a page or a heading in a Word document without scrolling, use the Navigation pane. To open the Navigation pane, press Ctrl+F, or select the View tab and choose Navigation Pane.
At the top of the Folder Pane, click . To change the Folder Pane back to expanded view, click . When the Folder Pane is minimized, click a folder name to view that folder’s contents, or click All Folders to see a pop-out window where you can pick any of your folders.

To change the appearance or location of the Navigation pane, select the Task Pane Options drop-down arrow and choose Size or Move.

1 Απρ 2023 · You can use the Navigation pane to display your headings on the left hand side of the document. To enable the pane, click to select "Navigation Pane" in the Show group on the View tab. Click a heading in the pane to go to that location in the document.
On the ribbon, on the View tab, select Folder pane > Show. If the Folder pane option isn't visible, select Layout > Folder Pane > Show.
