Animal Control helps keep Big Spring and Howard County citizens safe by providing pet care education and services. These programs work to reduce the number of unwanted strays animals in the city, minimize the threat of diseases such as rabies, and prevent injuries caused by animals.
WHAT WE DO. We promote the adoption of pets from Howard County Animal Control ("The Shelter"). Our volunteers help to place given-up and unclaimed stray cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, and occasional reptiles into permanent homes.
