The HSC Clinical Education Centre (CEC) is a unit of the Business Service Organisation (BSO) Directorate of Operational Services. CEC design and deliver education that supports Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals across Northern Ireland.
eLearning programmes for HSCNI Staff are now completed through LearnHSCNI. The following programmes are currently available: Anaphylaxis & Patient Group Directions (PGDs) Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) Analysis and Interpretation in Adults; Basic Life Support (Adult) Basic Life Support (Paediatric)

Good Clinical Practice training (for researchers) A key requirement for anyone involved in the conduct of clinical research is Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. GCP is the ethical and practical standard to which all clinical research is conducted.
