5 Αυγ 2022 · I'm looking to get a good subwoofer, and I'm stuck between the HSU VTF-2 MK5 and the SVS PB-1000 Pro. I'm having trouble deciding because while the VTF-2 MK5 appears to be more powerful and variable, it only has a warranty of 2 years on the electronics.
29 Μαΐ 2021 · Since you don't have an DSP then the SVS is the best choice. With the PB1000Pro you get 3-band Parametric EQ to knock down resonance peaks in your room, whereas with the LV12F you get 1-band. SVS also offers a phone APP that allows you control the volume, crossover, EQ, phase, etc. from your couch.
I haven't compared them but the Hsu is (or can) a ported sub (with slightly more power) that will have more output than the other two. They are all decent subs, but I would go with the Hsu since you can try it both ways.
12 Μαρ 2021 · With the SVS you are given more of an upgrade path. The lineup goes from the pb 1000 pro all the way to the Pb16 ultra. SVS also gives you a one-year trade-up program where you can upgrade your sub and whatever money you paid for your original sub gets deducted from the total of your upgrade cost.
