For starters I have a 12" Klipsch sw 112 that works fine, but leaves me asking for more!.. I was pretty much set on getting an SVS PB12 plus or PC12 plus.
Subwoofer: HSU VTF2-MK5 vs SVS PB-1000 Pro. Discussion. Based on the help here, I'm prioritizing upgrading my bass. Currently running an older 10" Sony Sub. Looks like both the PB-1000 PRO and VTF 2.5 are both well thought off. SVS is $120 more and I plan to buy two. Extra $240 is fine if it's worth it. Room is ~2380 cuft.

Hsu, Rythmik, PSA, Monolith, and SVS are all highly regarded, and I'll share a quick thought on each before my conclusion. Goal: I want a sub that can extend to ~15hz and beyond with >100 spl so I can experience scenes like the edge of tomorrow intro. Every sub im looking at is 100lbs+, with some being 150lbs+.
22 Μαρ 2022 · Hello, I'm deciding between 4 subs. I am optimizing for mostly music, some movies. Deciding between: Rythmik F12 - $1139; Rel T9x - $1249; SVS SB-3000 - $1200; HSU ULS-15 MK2 - $1084 shipped; Any thoughts on which one is best for a clean musical sound?
I haven't compared them but the Hsu is (or can) a ported sub (with slightly more power) that will have more output than the other two. They are all decent subs, but I would go with the Hsu since you can try it both ways.
