What I do see as likely is Vive coming out with a new version of the wireless adapter with WiGig 2, which just released on July 28. That's 20-40 Gbps. So plenty to run the VP2 at full res 120fps. DP1.4 has a max data transfer of 25.92 Gbps, so it's possible WiGig 2 might be able to barely squeeze in headsets that require 2 DP cables, even.
I would say they probably last 2-2.5hrs, so not as long as the HTC battery, but very close. Either way you can play for 7+ hours straight with these two batteries and the HTC one, which works great because by then your controllers will have died.
