17 Οκτ 2011 · \hspace{0pt} is required because vertical space is removed on the start of a document (e.g. pagebreak). Of all solutions proposed here, this is the one that worked for me. In ConTeXt MkIV you use standardmakeup. For horizontal centering add the additional key align=middle as in the example below. Centered text! Very simple way, like described here.
11 Δεκ 2008 · There is actually a solution, using css3, which can vertically center a div of unknown height. The trick is to move the div down by 50%, then use transformY to get it back up to the middle. The only prerequisite is that the to-be-centered element has a parent. Example:
By default page margins at the top and bottom differ. You can use the geometry package, with its commands \newgeometry and \restoregeometry, to control the layout of this page. In particular setting vmargin together with ignoreheadfoot will give a vertically centered text block.

28 Οκτ 2017 · solution in given link works at any \documentclass{...} ... You on one hand say at the center of the "page" which many will take to mean the printable area of the paper (excluding margins), while you also indicate centering with respect to the "paper".
IF you need it both vertical and horizontal you can give the content a width or just let the content decide and then use place-items:center; on the grid. This is a shortcut for align-items:center; justify-items:center;
