Gmail is the official email provider for all NC State students, faculty and staff. The preferred browser for Gmail is Chrome. Your Gmail has a storage quota assigned to it based on your university affiliation. See Google Storage Quotas for information. Sync your mail, contacts, calendar, and more.
NC State University uses Gmail as its email provider. The NC State Help Desk only supports logins on gmail.com and official Gmail apps. On your computer, go to Gmail. If information is already filled in and you need to sign in to a different account, click Use another account.

Students now have access to Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive (formerly Docs), and Sites. OIT’s G Suite site is dedicated to usage and training on Google apps. The official email address for University communication is: unityid@ncsu.edu. All students use Gmail servers.
