NC State University uses Gmail as its email provider. The NC State Help Desk only supports logins on gmail.com and official Gmail apps. On your computer, go to Gmail. If information is already filled in and you need to sign in to a different account, click Use another account.
If you see a page describing Gmail instead of the sign-in page, select Sign in in the top-right corner of the page. In the Email or Phone field, enter [your Unity ID]@ncsu.edu and select Next. On the Shibboleth Login Service page, enter your Unity ID and password. Select LOG IN. Authenticate with Duo if prompted.
Students now have access to Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive (formerly Docs), and Sites. OIT’s G Suite site is dedicated to usage and training on Google apps. The official email address for University communication is: unityid@ncsu.edu. All students use Gmail servers.
