About the Program. The Bachelor of Science [Generic Pathway] nursing program is designed for students who wish to become nurses over a four-year course of study in the liberal arts & sciences and professional nursing. On completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam, the licensing examination for registered nurses.
The RN-to-BS program is open to individuals who already have an associate's degree in nursing and a New York State RN license. The program may be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. Admission to the program occurs in the fall and spring semesters.
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing: Generic Program - Designed for students to obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing over a traditional, four-year course of study. RN-to-BS Program - Designed for qualified individuals with an associate's degree in nursing and a NY State RN license who wish to earn a bachelor's degree in nursing.
The Accelerated Second-Degree (A2D) program is a post-baccalaureate program for qualified students who have earned a non-nursing baccalaureate degree and wish to obtain a bachelor of science (BS) degree in nursing.
