  1. Admission Requirements. Students are considered for admission to the nursing program in the spring semester of their freshman year after completing prerequisite course work and submitting an application to the School of Nursing. Only those admitted to the School of Nursing are allowed to declare nursing as their major.

  6. Application Requirements. Admission to the nursing program is competitive. Each year, there are many students majoring in pre-nursing who meet the requirements to submit an application. 80 students are admitted per cohort. Cohorts begin in fall and spring semesters.
