13 Αυγ 2001 · I installed a Hurst Competition Plus shifter in my '74 during the restification project. I have been having some trouble with it getting stuck in second gear when shifting from second to third. I thought I had setup the shifter properly, using the little alignment tool, etc.
29 Οκτ 2023 · So I got my engine/trans mated and I'm rethinking my stick shift knob after playing around with a few options. I recently acquired a patina'd 70s Hurst T-handle and shifter boot, which is causing my rethink (It lived its life on a 79 Trans Am).
31 Δεκ 2013 · I picked up a Hurst short shift kit and a SLP Line lock kit recently and after testing the line lock kit the very first time I realized that a toggle switch mounted anywhere but on the shift knob itself just wasn't going to cut it for me.
11 Ιουν 2017 · The reverse on the transmission seems to be in the wrong position - doesn't match the illustration in the instructions, but flipping the plate over seems to get the rod into the right area on the shifter lever - if the adjustment button fit the hole.

27 Δεκ 2013 · $275 covers the shifter with a white ball knob, the modifications and shipping. There are several hurst knobs you can buy or any other knob with a 3/8-16 thread. I can make an adapter if you have a knob with different threads.
