This document is mandatory for the consistent application of the relevant clauses of ISO/IEC 17021-1 for audits of quality and environmental management systems. All clauses of ISO/IEC 17021-1 continue to apply and this document does not supersede any of the requirements in that standard.
14 Ιουν 2019 · IAF MD 5: 2019 Determination of Audit Time of Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems was published on 7th May 2019 with a 1-year application period, meaning that by 7th May 2020 the new version must be fully implemented and in use by all accredited Certification Bodies.
The International Accreditation Forum, Inc. (IAF) published a new guidance document for achieving a basic level of consistency for determining the audit time according to the application of the relevant requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1 for audits of different management systems.
This two day training by International Accreditation Service (IAS) gives key insights and tools to help implement the requirements of 17021-1 such as: Understanding the application of accreditation body requirements. Support the operation of the certification bodies to implement the MD requirements.
