2 Δεκ 2020 · IAS 39 Financial Instruments: Recognition and Measurement outlines the requirements for the recognition and measurement of financial assets, financial liabilities, and some contracts to buy or sell non-financial items.
The only exceptions permitted in IAS 39 paragraph 74 are separating the intrinsic value and time value of an option and separating the interest element and the spot price of a forward contract. In the light of the above requirements in IFRSs, the IFRIC did not expect significant diversity in practice in the application of those requirements.
International Accounting Standard 39 Financial Instruments: Recognition and Measurement (IAS 39) is set out in paragraphs 2–110 and Appendices A and B. All the paragraphs have equal authority but retain the IASC format of the Standard when it was adopted by the IASB.

1 Νοε 2006 · IAS 39 requires an assessment at each balance sheet date as to whether there is any objective evidence that a financial asset is impaired and whether any impairment has any impact on the estimated future cash flows of the financial asset. The company recognises any impairment loss in profit or loss.
