Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) is a civil service training institute on public policy and public administration in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand in India. The academy's main purpose is to train civil servants of the IAS cadre and also conduct the Foundation Course of Group-A Central Civil Services.
The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration is a research and training institute on public policy and public administration in India. Operated by India's Union Government, LBSNAA is located in the remote town of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Campuses. The Academy is located at Mussoorie, a hill station at a height of little above 6580 ft. It is 35 Km. by road from the rail head at Dehradun and some 270 km. north of Delhi. From the main campus built on the Charleville estate, there have been subsequent expansions.
Organization Chart. Director (ST) Sriram Taranikanti, an IAS officer of 1992 batch of Tripura Cadre serves as the Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, from 12th September 2023. Before joining the Academy, he served as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

It offers services like gym, tennis court, horse riding etc. A typical day at the academy normally starts at 6:00 AM with an exercise drill at the Polo Ground for an hour or a 6-10 km jog.
