IAS Officer Salary During Training. The salary of an IAS Officer during their training period at LBSNAA consists of a basic stipend and certain allowances. During the training period at LBSNAA, IAS officers receive a monthly salary of Rs 56100. However, the mess and hostel fees are deducted from it.

Campuses. The Academy is located at Mussoorie, a hill station at a height of little above 6580 ft. It is 35 Km. by road from the rail head at Dehradun and some 270 km. north of Delhi. From the main campus built on the Charleville estate, there have been subsequent expansions.

However, monthly accommodation charges are deducted from the stipend. The monthly accommodation charges are: (including water and electricity charges) Single Occupancy Accommodation: Rs.350 per head.
