The aims of ICT in education are: To develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable the child to use ICT to support his/her learning in appropriate ways. To enable the child to acquire and apply ICT skills in the attainment of appropriate curriculum objectives across the range of subjects.

The three selected cases were chosen because they differ greatly in terms of their context, experiences, and challenges encountered.
These key areas are likely to include the development of resources (infrastructure and digital content), professional development (ICT use and pedagogy), and curriculum development (ICT capability and ICT use in subjects).
Integration of ICT across the Curriculum: This is described to demonstrate the use of ICT to combine subject areas to work on real-world projects and solve real problems. There are some examples to show how within one course ICT can help students to integrate several areas, such as math, science and art.
