Idaho’s Content Standards were revised and adapted in 2015 by Idaho Stakeholders from the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts/Literacy and Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects.
PDF copies of all content standards, including the newly revised standards are available at no cost in the grey dropdowns below. Private schools and homeschooling families are welcome to print the PDFs as needed.
Idaho’s Standards for English Language Arts prioritize the following content: Foundational Reading Skills Idaho’s standards emphasize explicit, systematic approaches to teaching phonemic awareness, phonics, and fluency as the foundation of literacy in the early grades.
