1 Οκτ 2024 · If this is what is happening to you, it could mean your CAC reader needs a driver or firmware update. Look for your reader on the CAC readers page to verify if your reader and CAC combination is compatible with each other.
5 Αυγ 2020 · I have been using my CAC reader daily since March. Last Thursday it mysteriously stopped working. All the DOD Certs are re-loaded (and trusted), but I cannot access the certs that are on the CAC. I did not install any OS updates (currently running Catalina v. 10.15.6. MacBook Pro.
22 Απρ 2022 · Follow the steps in this article under the MacBook Pro model you have: How to use safe mode on your Mac. If the issue doesn't continue while in safe mode, leave safe mode by restarting your Mac normally. Then test for the issue again. The issue might be resolved.
The terminal is showing when I insert the CAC but it shows that it’s failing to read the CAC. I try a different CAC reader on two different PCs. Upon attempting to login I am met with the same notification that it’s not finding any certificates on the CAC.
I’ve had a MacBook since 2012, and I found this site which breaks down exactly what you need to do. Just fyi, the network settings will change which means even not using your CAC reader, your computer may no longer be able to connect to unsecured wifi anymore. https://militarycac.com
22 Ιαν 2024 · Does not read your CAC when using your Mac NO TE: We are hearing Mac users having problems with the SCR-331 reader. A recommendation is to get a Mac compatible reader .
