1 Οκτ 2024 · If this is what is happening to you, it could mean your CAC reader needs a driver or firmware update. Look for your reader on the CAC readers page to verify if your reader and CAC combination is compatible with each other.
22 Ιαν 2024 · To install a driver onto your computer for a CAC reader, you need to first download the correct driver for the hardware you purchased, I have drivers for the most common USB Readers, Keyboard, laptop, & desktop card readers
The terminal is showing when I insert the CAC but it shows that it’s failing to read the CAC. I try a different CAC reader on two different PCs. Upon attempting to login I am met with the same notification that it’s not finding any certificates on the CAC.
The very first step is buy the correct CAC reader. I did literally everything on military cac for my Mac (MacBook pro with the M1 chip) and it still didn’t work. Then I got the CAC reader sold at the NEX (SCR3310 or whatever.
