Get Your IELTS results quickly and reliably. You won’t have to wait long for your IELTS test results. In fact, if you take IELTS on computer, your results will arrive typically within two days. You can preview your results on the Test Taker Portal.
You can collect your Test Report Form (TRF) at IDP IELTS offices when your results are released. You need to bring the form of identity you used when you registered for the test to pick up your TRF. Contact your IELTS test centre for more information.
You will receive an IELTS Test Report Form as official confirmation and proof of your test results. This can either be a paper copy or a digital version (eTRF). You can share your IELTS Test Report Form, as proof of your English proficiency, with the organisations you wish to apply to.
The results are reported as band scores on a scale from 1 to 9, with 1 being the lowest and 9 indicating the highest level of English language proficiency. You will receive a band score for each section of the test—Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

Band Score 7: Listening 30. Band Score 8: Listening 35. The IELTS Reading test contains 40 questions. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark. Scores out of 40 are converted to the IELTS 9-band scale. Scores are reported in whole and half bands. The IELTS Academic and General Training Reading tests are graded on the same scale.
