1 Σεπ 2022 · IgD myeloma was historically associated with worse outcomes, but we now report a standard cytogenetic risk profile and survival outcomes. Improved IgD myeloma survival is due to earlier diagnosis, improved supportive care, and response to novel antimyeloma therapies.
IgD has antibody activity to specific antigens (34, 53, 60, 109, 110); individuals with high levels of IgD can produce specific IgD antibodies after antigenic challenge .

Here we will review these advances and discuss their implications in humoral immunity in human and mice.
