Joined IGLTA as Ambassador for Colombia in 2013 and since 2017 is a board member of the Association in which acted as Treasurer for 4 years. In September 2021 was elected Board Chair as the first South American and Colombian in this role.

31 Οκτ 2023 · FORT LAUDERDALE, USA (31 October 2023) — The International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) announced their Board of Directors for 2024. Four industry thought leaders, representing three different sectors in tourism/hospitality, were first-time appointees and will begin their two-year term in January.
The current IGLTA Association board of directors to September 2021 consists of an executive board: Jon Muñoz, chair; Don Skeoch, vice chair; Felipe Cardenas, treasurer; Shiho Ikeuchi, secretary; Juan P. Julia Blanch, immediate past chair.
