BLUE PRINCESS is a female Meserve holly that typically matures to 8-12’ tall. It is a dense shrub featuring purplish stems and dark blue-green leaves with spiny-toothed margins. Tiny greenish-white flowers on this plant are relatively inconspicuous.
Blue hollies get their name for their glossy, spiny foliage that is identical to other hollies, but the leaves have a beautiful bluish cast. Very effective for creating evergreen screens, barriers and backdrops. Uses. Great for texture in borders, use for hedging or foundations.
