19 Μαΐ 2011 · I'm looking for (preferably free) software for Windows 7 that will allow me to fix an AVI file that has audio out of sync with the video. I tried with Windows Live Movie Maker and VirtualDub and couldn't find out how to do it (if at all possible) on both of them.

Choose Sound controller and other audio devices, then Driver tab, then Roll back if available.
If so, you may want to disable monitoring in OBS and monitor in windows, by going to the properties of your audio input devices in windows sound settings, and selecting "Listen to this device". If that fails to fix it, you may want to disable buffering for your video source in OBS.
