If you followed these instructions properly, your router will actually be port forwarding 25565 to your Minecraft server. You can now let your friends/public know what your IP address is so they may connect to your server and play! If this doesn't work, it may also be that your computer has firewall set up as well.
27 Απρ 2024 · All clients using Minecraft 1.20.5 that are logged onto our server simultaneously get disconnected with the error "Network Protocol Error" when any other unrelated player on the server logs off the server.
Find the port that the server is running on and check to see if that port is open in the fire wall. There are loads of tutorials on youtube about opening ports so it shouldn't be that much of a problem.
29 Οκτ 2013 · Hello everyone! this is my first post on bukkit's forum and i'm having a "little" trouble connecting to my own server that's running bukkit's latest verson under ubuntu, i've already created an regular minecraft server and i was able to connect to it but when i try to connect to the bukkit one, it logs this on the console
7 Ιουλ 2023 · If you have entered something besides the “server-ip=” in the server.properties file, you will encounter the “failed to bind to port Minecraft server” error. You can fix the issue by changing the server.properties file.
3 Σεπ 2020 · Port Forwarding for my Minecraft Server don't Work. My Router is a Huawei B311-221 and I use Windows 10 Pro for hosting it. At every thing i tried check for open ports but no results! Connecting on my home network works great. What can i do now? What I tried: Enabled Port Forwarding (Called Virtual Server on Router Config Page)

But before doing anything, it's well worth checking to see whether there are any problems with the game servers. If the servers are down, then you'll need to wait until they are back online, before trying again.
