1 Νοε 2023 · Indian Monsoon Data Assimilation and Analysis (IMDAA) reanalysis system produced a reanalysis dataset for the period 1979-2018 for the whole Indian monsoon region (Rani et al., 2020,...
31 Μαρ 2021 · This 12 km resolution reanalysis covering the satellite-era from 1979 to 2018 using 4D-Var data assimilation method and the UK Met Unified Model is presently the highest resolution...
10 Ιαν 2020 · The Indian Monsoon Data Assimilation and Analysis (IMDAA) project has produced satellite-era high-resolution reanalysis for South Asia and adjoining regions using state of the art DA and NWP system. IMDAA is the first high-resolution (12 km) atmospheric reanalysis over the Indian subcontinent.
Check Datasets page to access 10 different datasets of both IMDAA and NGFS reanalysis. Options for Grib2, NetCDF and Area subset are included. A Live page for displaying current data download size, total processed queries count, etc., is added.
A reanalysis is a high-quality climate-data product produced by assimilating long time series of observations with a consistent and state-of-the-art numerical weather prediction (NWP) model and data assimilation (DA) system to represent the best estimate of the state of the atmosphere.
• Reanalyses provide comprehensive snapshots of atmospheric conditions at regular grids and intervals over long time periods; whereas observation alone can provide only a limited understanding of the past weather and climate. Aims and uses of Reanalysis.
