Ina Garten’s Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie is made with light brown sugar, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, kosher salt, unsalted butter, extra-large eggs, pure vanilla extract, good bourbon, semisweet chocolate chips, whole pecans, and a 9-inch store-bought frozen pie crust.
In a smaller bowl, whisk together the butter, eggs, vanilla, and bourbon. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir with a rubber spatula until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans. Place the pie crust on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
Chocolate chips, and roughly chopped pecans and just stir them right in. I love the texture of this pie. Sweet. It's surprising. It's better than the pecan pie because it has chocolate and that's the filling. So, this is my shortcut. I use store bought pie crust. It's actually better than homemade.
