Indiana Tech strives to be environmentally friendly by recycling and reducing waste wherever possible. We currently recycle: Ink toners/cartridges. Batteries. Electronic waste. Food Waste (kitchen prep waste only) Paper/cardboard. Metal.

participating in MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) co-permittee with the City of Fort Wayne, Saint Francis University, PFW and Ivy Tech; labeling all waste containers on campus with trash or commingle designation; placing recycling bins in classrooms, offices, and lounges

Recycling is available to Fort Wayne residents in single family homes and residential homes of no more than four units. Our One-Cart Recycling is easy! Paper, aluminum, plastic bottles, and glass can all go in the same cart, loosely and without sorting. Curbside recycling is every other week.
Recycling A/B Week Calendar. Recycling collection is every other week. Neighborhoods are split into A and B weeks. A calendar for the remainder of the year is below. If your recycling collection day is during the "A Week" you will follow the schedule with the WHITE NUMBERS for the “A” week.
