With warm water between 26-30 Celcius (68-86 Fahrenheit) throughout the year, you don’t have to worry about the suit to wear for diving in Wakatobi: you can use a rash guard for snorkeling, and 1mm or 3mm wetsuit for diving while the best diving season runs between March and December.
Air temperature is in general around 30 °C (86 F) during the day and nicely cooler in the evening. Water temperature is a fairly cool 26-28 °C (79-82°F). We recommend a full body 5 mm dive suit, especially for divers making several dives in a day.
Wakatobi diving includes the largest barrier reef in Indonesia and some of the most pristine reefs and wall diving in the world. Wakatobi National Park consists of over 100 islands and is named for the four largest: Wa ngi-Wangi, Ka ledupa, To mia, and Bi nongko.

16 Νοε 2018 · We think this might be the last healthy and thriving coral reef in the world. Diving in Wakatobi is just breathtaking. The water is full of life. We saw big schools of giant trevally, barracudas tonnes of reef fish and huge coral formations. Read everything about our trip.
