Our 10 acre campus features walking trails with two ponds, and is conveniently located between Oklahoma City and Edmond, just west of the intersection at Hefner Road and Eastern, on the North side of the street. STAY is outfitted with two sizes of indoor/outdoor, climate controlled runs.
Our place features secure indoor/outdoor runs, climate control, and double-gated play areas. Plus, with on-site owners and a friendly, trained team always around, your pets will get all the attention they need.
Whether your dog is here for the day or for a long-term stay, they'll stay safe and secure in our clean, climate-controlled facility. Our kennels have an indoor/outdoor design concept, and we have nine large outdoor play areas with no artificial turf, so our friends get plenty of outdoor playtime.
19 Μαΐ 2023 · The Humane Society of the United States included Chris McGill, of Chris's Kennel in McAlester, on its annual list. It's the only location included listed for Oklahoma. The report says Chris's Kennel received an official warning in August 2022 after USDA inspectors found terrible conditions during a visit in late May.

There are separate isolation buildings for dogs and cats; each unit has an enclosed indoor/outdoor run. Once dogs leave the isolation area, they are housed, according to their size and personality, in one of the kennel’s indoor/outdoor units.
STAY is outfitted with two sizes of indoor/outdoor, climate controlled runs. The standard run offers a comfortable 84 sq ft, while our suites provide a spacious 112 sq ft for your canine to relax in. We also feature several expandable runs that can be opened to each other, allowing for large groups of dogs to board together.
