Support for the Insta360 app on Chromebooks will be greatly appreciated -- providing access to devices with much larger screens (and faster processors) compared to our Android phones. It appears that with just a bit more tweaking that this should be possible :)
I prefer editing on the desktop instead of mobile, as then I can export them from the studio and into Da Vinci Resolve, it would be great if these features can be added to the desktop app as well.

Is there a 3rd party app that works well to edit these videos, preferably for Linux, android (on Chromebook), or Chromebook? I never would have guessed that getting the files from the SD card to the app would be the most difficult part of taking and editing a 360 video.

The installation package contains the Insta360 Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro (2019/2020) and Final Cut Pro X (only for ONE R wide-angle files) which enable you to open and edit insp/insv/mp4 files in Premiere/Final Cut Pro X.
