Formative Instructional Practices (FIP) is a blended model of professional learning for Georgia educators. This resource assists educators in learning about formative instructional practices and use of these processes to improve teaching and student learning.
Teachers use common formative and summative assessments, aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence, to determine student learning targets, monitor student progress, inform instruction, and improve teacher practices.
Educators will find the right tools for easily building standards-based instructional plans as well as immediate access to the materials aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards. Included are over 1,200 videos demonstrating best practices for the classroom in addition to the following resources:
