Stop unwanted sales calls by registering your phone number: Online: Visit DoNotCall.gov; By phone: Call 1-888-382-1222 or TTY: 1-866-290-4236; The registry will stop calls from most legitimate companies, but it will not stop scammers.
The Do Not Call Register is a secure database where individuals and organisations can register, check or remove their Australian telephone, mobile and fax numbers to opt out of receiving most unsolicited telemarketing calls and faxes.
If the cell phone number is on the National Do-Not-Call Registry, all advertising calls – including manually-dialed and live ones – are prohibited unless the called party has an established business relationship with the caller or the called party has given prior express written consent.
8 Φεβ 2024 · You can register your numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry at no cost by calling 1-888-382-1222 (voice) or 1-866-290-4236 (TTY). You must call from the phone number you wish to register. You can also register at donotcall.gov .
