If you have a new password, if your email provider has asked you to change settings, or if you're having problems with sending and receiving email, you can change your email account settings through Mail in the Windows Control Panel, or from Outlook.
Change your password with your email provider. See the following sections for instructions on changing your email account password for several major email providers. If your email account provider isn't listed, contact your admin or the email provider's help desk.
To configure the Internet email account manually, follow these steps in the Add New Account dialog box: Select Manual setup or additional server types > Next. Select POP or IMAP > Next. Under User Information , configure the following settings: In the Your Name box, type your full name. In the Email Address box, type your full email address.
To change your account settings, follow these steps: Open Outlook 2016. From the Account Settings drop-down list, select Account Settings. Select the email account that you want to change and then click Change. In the Change Account window, enter your new password. Click Next after Outlook tests your account settings. Click Finish and then Close.
Change password. Change your Google Account password. In order to change your password, you need to be signed in. Continue to sign in.
You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it. Your Google Account password is used to access many Google products, like Gmail and YouTube.
