Your lunch includes: An entrée with protein and whole grains, up to two (2) vegetable side dishes, one (1) fruit side dish, and a choice of milk. Students must take 3 of the 5 components but must select 1/2 cup fruit or vegetable to qualify as full meal.
Ionia Public Schools (IPS) is proud to partner with the USDA and MDE to provide free breakfast and lunch for all IPS students each school day during the 2024-25 school year. In order to ensure that our District qualifies for a variety of supplemental funding and programs, we need each household to fill out and sign the Education Benefits Form.
Accounts can be created online to pay for meals at https://ionia.familyportal.cloud/ and we also accept cash or check at school. All meal charges MUST be paid off by the end of the school year. Any unpaid charges will be carried forward to the next school year and count towards the ability to charge.

Wholesome, well-balanced meals are prepared in compliance with USDA Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Breakfast and Lunch are free and determined by using the Paid Lunch Equity tool provided by USDA.
