23 Μαΐ 2012 · I reset the factory settings, I reset the network settings, I rebooted the phone, I removed the SIM card and nothing has fixed the issue! I plan on going to an apple store to see if they can help with the issue. This is very frustrating because I've never had any issues with my phone before this ios 5.1.1 update.
30 Μαΐ 2024 · Here’s a list of problems now: Dropping WiFi A LOT throughout day, 5 min on, then off, repeat. Turning off WiFi, still couldn’work online using 5G. Text and email notifications not working at all, banners nor sound.
I had this with my iPad 1 (also iOS 5.1.1) when using the "Checkmate, Store!" tweak. Downgrading to the previous version of the tweak (use the three dots menu in cydia when viewing the tweaks page) fixed it for me. If you're not using that tweak - might be worth trying!
