Update iOS on iPhone. When you update to the latest version of iOS, your data and settings remain unchanged. Before you update, set up iPhone to back up automatically, or back up your device manually.
Best thing to do is to is do a factory reset (on the 14 pro). Once it's up and running and you connected it to your mobile carrier or wifi, then do the system update. It should have no problem getting to a server to download it once it's got at least 25% charge. Do the update, then let it reboot.
