The Code Enforcement Officer will work with you if you need time to comply the cited violations of the City Code. You may call the Code Enforcement Officer if you need a short extension, or contact the Code Enforcement Supervisor requesting a longer extension.
It is the goal of the City of Riverside to gain compliance, not punish violators. The Code Enforcement Officer will first send a Notice of Violation letter to the property owner and/or tenant indicating the violation (s). The letter requests that the violation (s) be corrected within 10 days.
