There are many factors that will determine longevity like how much you use it. I would recommend draining the battery to around 10-15% percent every 2 weeks or so. Don’t kill the battery that often because it is not great for lithium ion batteries.
People using Apple pencil 1st generation for two or more years, are you guys experiencing faster discharges ? My pencil's battery goes from 100 to 85% laying ideally in the case.
24 Οκτ 2021 · It should be atleast 12 hours of battery life. Other users also tried plugging it in for about 15 seconds on their iPad Pro and it is usable for 15 minutes.
2 Φεβ 2021 · The pencil should last several years if you're careful with it. The two ways it will fail are physical damage and eventual consumption of the batteries. One way you won’t get long life out of a pencil is if you don’t use it and keep it charged monthly. Avoid hard drops to the hard floor.
