Help! I have a 24 min MOV video that I recorded on my iphone, about 6 gigs, that plays fine on my iphone 12 mini (running 15.6.1), but when I transfer it to my windows 10 pc, I get an error that it's unplayable (This file isn't playable.
Since IOS 17 upgrade on iphone 11, opening MOV file requires HEVC video extension in PC (Win10) - Windows Media Player. Opening with VLC worked just fine. I went to Settings -> Photo -> Transfer to Mac or PC. Tried both "Automatic" or "Original Setting". The result is the same.
If you're on Windows or any Mac that can't handle the latest OS, your videos won't play on your computer as stated by Apple here. There is a way to fix this problem pretty easily once you actually know how to do it.
