I've spent days trying to get my iPod to connect to my new Windows 10 Dell desktop. It would not show up under devices therefore would not show in iTunes. I did everything people suggested and nothing worked. I finally found the fix!
If you can’t connect to a Wi-Fi network that you could connect to before, it’s possible that the network settings might have changed or the profile is corrupted. To fix this, remove (or "forget") the network connection, then reconnect to the network.

You can fix most of these minor glitches by simply restarting these apps.
You can sync your Windows device and Apple device when they’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Whenever your Apple device connects to your Windows device over Wi-Fi, you can select it in the Apple Devices app sidebar and sync it.

I've been trying to get Apple to update iTunes installers to make iPod recognized as an AppleUSB device on Windows 64bit 10/11 by updating the Registry. Even tried snail-mail (ref case) but keep getting the run-a-round.
