7 Ιαν 2020 · You already have an excellent Graphic Viewer and editor built into macOS. It's called "Preview". Start using it and experiment a bit. You'll see that it's a powerful app. And yes, I have used IrfanView for years during my days with Windows. It's a great app but I think you'll agree that Preview is just as good. Give it a try.
It is a lightweight image viewer that is packed with features. Over the years, I've tried dozens of different image viewers and editors for the Mac and none can match IrfanView's feature set and simplicity.

26 Αυγ 2024 · IrfanView is not available for Mac but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality. The best Mac alternative is XnView MP. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try nomacs or qView.
31 Ιαν 2010 · I've been using Irfanview for many years. I just switched our home computers to Macs and looked around for a replacement. After trying several programs and reading many forums, I agreed with others that there is no good Mac equivalent program!
There is no native-Mac version of IrfanView. However, you can use IrfanView in conjunction with Mac program like WineBottler/DARWINE. Take the ZIP version of IrfanView and unzip it or copy your existing Windows IrfanView folder to Mac.
