Sport Ireland offers three workshops in the area of Safeguarding. These are Safeguarding 1 (Basic Awareness), Safeguarding 2 (Club Children's Officer), & Safeguarding 3 (Designated Liaison Person).
Understanding Safeguarding: Demonstrate an understanding of why safeguarding children and young people in sport is important. Recognising the Signs: Demonstrate knowledge of the different categories of child abuse and identify the signs of abuse.
