16 Φεβ 2011 · A previous post indicates that Irontite is probably the best product available for internal engine cracks. My Continental Z134 has a small crack that needs repairing. Looking at the Irontite web site, there are two types of seals available: Ceramic Motor seal and All Weather Seal.

22 Ιουν 2004 · Irontite is more about high end tooling and cold crack repair taps,reamers,etc for the Diesel Engine rebuilding companies than a chemical manufacture. The Flush,All Weather Seal,Ceramic Seal products evolved to compliment this industry. It just so happens to work great on gas engines too.
I'm looking for success stories about sealing a cylinder head using the Irontite ceramic sealer and their recirculator pump. I've installed deeper oversized seats (copper alloy from CHE, thanks Ferris) in some Subaru heads, and when pressure testing have discovered that I have broken through to water on a few of them.
11 Δεκ 2009 · Pressure tested the heads, changed all hoses, pump and thermostat and I don,t have wet carpets..... I am thinking about adding the "IRONTITE" ceramic sealer to try and solve the problem. Now the question is: What would be the best known product?
23 Ιουλ 2022 · You might try calling Irontite and see what they say. From may understanding the sealer activates when exposed to air. So it may not matter if the portion is plastic.
