Good news is though, is that the overwhelming opinion is that the Boson exsim is much harder than the actual exam. They’re quite difficult and tbf some of the questions on there are either not in the CCNA targets or go way deeper into some things then any resources teach to (e.g. SSH). I’d say they’re about as hard as the actual exam.
I'd say the Boson tests are a pretty good indicator of what you will see on the exams. If anything the Boson tests are a bit harder than the real thing (by design, I would guess), so if you can do well on the Boson tests you should be able to pass the actual test.
Boson is pretty universally well regarded around here as far as I can tell. That said, it probably goes into more depth than required but from what folks have reported doing well on the Boson exam nearly guarantees a pass.
